# Arabic Label Checklist — NBP KSA

Use this checklist for every SKU/flavour before sending artwork to print. Tick each item and attach the evidence.

## 1. Product identity
- [ ] Brand name (NBP) and product name in Arabic and English, matching the registration file
- [ ] Flavour in Arabic and English
- [ ] Net quantity in metric units (g/kg)
- [ ] Number of servings and serving size
- [ ] "Food supplement" or "complementary sport food" descriptor in Arabic
- [ ] No misleading terms ("ISO", "100%", "pharmaceutical grade") unless substantiated

## 2. Manufacturer and importer
- [ ] Manufacturer name and address (Canada)
- [ ] Saudi importer name, address and contact
- [ ] Country of origin: "Made in Canada" / "صنع في كندا"
- [ ] SFDA registration number (if issued); **no SFDA logo or "approved by SFDA" claim**

## 3. Ingredients
- [ ] Full ingredient list in Arabic, descending order
- [ ] Additives named with INS numbers where required
- [ ] Allergens declared and emphasised: **milk**, **soy (lecithin)**, gluten where present
- [ ] Animal-derived ingredients declared (gelatin capsule, enzymes, flavours)
- [ ] Halal logo only if a recognised certificate exists; certifier name/number shown

## 4. Nutrition
- [ ] Nutrition table per 100 g **and** per serving
- [ ] Energy (kcal/kJ), protein, carbohydrate, sugars, fat, saturates, fibre, sodium
- [ ] Vitamins/minerals with % NRV where claimed
- [ ] Values match the CoA and the SFDA registration file

## 5. Dates and storage
- [ ] Production date (DD/MM/YYYY)
- [ ] Expiry date (DD/MM/YYYY)
- [ ] Batch/lot number on unit and carton
- [ ] Storage: "Store below 25 °C, dry, away from sunlight"
- [ ] Shelf life supported by stability data (18–24 months)

## 6. Warnings
- [ ] Caffeine content and warning (Pre-Workout, Extra Pump+)
- [ ] Not for children; keep out of reach
- [ ] Pregnancy/breastfeeding: consult a healthcare practitioner
- [ ] Kidney disease: consult a healthcare practitioner (creatine, arginine)
- [ ] Anticoagulants/aspirin: do not use (Extra Pump+ with salix alba)
- [ ] Excessive use may have a laxative effect (mass gainer, ISO-Whey)
- [ ] Do not use if high blood pressure (Extra Pump+)

## 7. Claims
- [ ] Only SFDA.FD 2333 permitted claims
- [ ] "High protein" only if ≥20% of energy from protein
- [ ] "Source of protein" only if ≥12% of energy from protein
- [ ] No "fat burning", "slimming", "weight loss", "growth hormone", "boosts testosterone", "pump" or disease claims
- [ ] No product name/trademark inside the claim statement
- [ ] Every claim tied to the ingredient that establishes it

## 8. Technical
- [ ] Barcode (EAN/UPC) scannable and correct
- [ ] Recycling symbols and packaging material marks
- [ ] Print resolution ≥300 dpi; dieline correct; no text in bleed
- [ ] Arabic font legible at 6 pt minimum; no reversed/connected-letter errors
- [ ] English and Arabic data match line by line
